The Crystal Ball promises to be a one of a kind, black tie event. All funds raised will be in support of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Diabetes affects so many lives and every single one of us has either a family member or a friend that are touched by the disease and it's many complications. Many people are not even aware that they have Diabetes or that they are at risk. Juvenile Diabetes, what is typically now referred to as Type 1 Diabetes (insulin dependent) affects many children as well as adults while Type 2 Diabetes, mainly affects adults (many becoming insulin dependent). In general, anyone with Diabetes would certainly benefit from the research that the JDRF is doing each day in order to find a cure. For this reason, we are asking for your support to this cause - the goal is to raise funds in the hopes of finding a cure! We seem to be getting closer and closer every day.
This event will be a very magical evening. You and your guests will enjoy sipping on specialty wines or complimentary martinis during the appetizer reception, followed by a complete gourmet meal and a midnight snack. This elegant evening will also feature a cash bar, music and dancing, a silent auction and special guests who will help us “look to the future”. In the spirit of Christmas being around the corner, we will also have special ornaments created by children with Type 1 diabetes, that will be available for purchase. This is not your typical Gala and promises to be something unique and extra special.
More details will follow shortly. Please help us support Diabetes Month (November) in the hopes of finding a cure.
